# Introduction

> EventPilot is an AI-powered co-pilot that helps event planners capture, organize, and confirm every detail of their events — through conversation.

EventPilot combines a conversational AI with a structured planning workspace. You describe your event in plain language — the AI listens, extracts the details, and populates your planning form in real time. You stay in control: you review every AI suggestion and confirm the details you're happy with. Once confirmed, a field is yours and the AI cannot overwrite it.

EventPilot is built for professional event planners working on conferences, seminars, corporate gatherings, and more — whether you're planning solo or coordinating a team.

## How the AI co-pilot works

EventPilot's AI operates on a **propose, don't decide** principle. When you send a message, the AI reads your words and suggests values for relevant planning fields. These suggestions appear as "inferred" — visually distinct from confirmed data — so you always know what the AI guessed versus what you've approved.

When you confirm a field, EventPilot records your decision permanently. From that point on, the AI will never silently overwrite it. If the AI detects new information that conflicts with a confirmed field, it surfaces an alternative for you to review rather than making the change itself.

This keeps you in full control, even while the AI does the heavy lifting.
